Dr Alexandre Renaud, MD, MSc

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr Alexandre Renaud began his university training with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal. He then continued his studies for a Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Montreal while working as a part-time physiotherapist in the field of sports medicine for 4 years.

Dr Renaud graduated from his Doctorate in Medicine in 2010 by being nominated on the Dean’s Honor List highlighting the excellence of his academic record during his medical studies.

He then began postdoctoral studies in orthopedic surgery residency in the Édouard-Samson orthopedic program at the University of Montreal, from which he graduated in 2015.

Between 2010 and 2014, Dr Renaud completed synchronously with his residency a Master’s degree in biomedical sciences on knee arthroplasty after having obtained a training grant from the Fonds de recherche du Québec.
